Jeppesen Transition Training

All new AirShares Owners transitioning into normally aspirated Cirrus SR22 aircraft will be enrolled in the Jeppesen Learning Center's Cirrus Transition Training Program. This innovative, web-based program was accepted by the FAA Industry Training Standards (FITS) partnership in April of 2008 and is rich in interactive, multimedia content using scenario-based training to effectively integrate risk management, aeronautical decision making, situational awareness, and single pilot resource management into every flight operation.

All AirShares pilots are required to demonstrate instrument proficiency at the conclusion of transition training during a comprehensive ground and flight evaluation administered by a designated AirShares check pilot.

All flight training events, including the flight workshops found in the Jeppesen course, are to be documented by the CFI on our on-line curriculum tracking system housed on MyFBO. CFIs should click here to download and view a tutorial on how to use this simple, paperless system.
